yep. I totally agree that their service is top notch. Their prices are insanely expensive though...

They seemed to have stuff I can't find anywhere else, especially in the glam/sleaze subgenres.

Their prices can be expensive. But if the album you're interested in is not likely to see a North American release, I find NEH's prices to be more than reasonable.

Since I'm a major fan of Scandavian glam/sleaze and those bands seldom have distribution in NA, that's when I find NEH to be useful. And I usually pay no more than 19.99 per disc including shipping.

Of course, like Alex, I always check Nuclear Hell first.

That site has great prices on stuff that never sees a North American release.

yeah. I agree. It just seems lately they have gone over that mark and then charge shipping on top. I love their service but the price point usually leaves me looking elsewhere. I need to nurture some friendships with more scandinavians!

Yes, you did. I doubt I'll get the GR disc unless they have returned to the glory days of SOIS and Power Plant.

Thanks. I don't like paying an arm and a leg for shipping or $13 or more for way underground glam/sleaze bands. The downside of NH is that it takes weeks for the stuff to arrive, but the shipping is free and with the discounts, the wait seems more tolerable somehow!

It all boils down to shopping around.

When I get interested in an artist I know won't receive major distribution in NA, I start checking The Sources. Ebay, NEH, Nuclear Hell, CD Baby, Amazon, etc.

And since none of those outlets has ever ripped me off, I usually go with the cheapest.

Right now I'm on the prowl for the new Bablyon Bombs disc. Haven't found it at a reasonable price yet.

You can pick up their albums for a lot less than I did about 5 years ago.
